Who can participate? 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students
You can enter on your own or as part of a 2-person team (same grade level).
When is Northwood’s competition? Tuesday, December 3rd
Where will it take place? Media Center
Awards Ceremony- Parents are invited to attend an awards ceremony and view student projects on Friday, December 4th at 7am in the Media Center. First place winners from each category will be eligible to complete in the Fulton County Technology Competing on December 14th, 2019 at Centennial High School.

2. Students will present their projects for judging on Tuesday, December 3rd between 8am and 12pm. Parents may view projects the morning of December 4th in the Media Center. More information regarding specific times will be printed in the Northwood BEST and sent home with the students participating in the fair.
3. There will be several "Tech Checks” to check on progress and help with questions. Here are dates and what students should have completed by each check-in.
October 18th- Applications AND Parent Consent forms are due online.
October 28th-November 1st- Tech Check #1- Students will need be notified which teacher, date, and time they will meet with about their project. They will be able to ask questions and make sure they have a good plan in place. More information will be sent communicated to students and parents via email.
November 18th-22nd- Tech Check #2 to check on progress. More information regarding specific times will communicated to students and parents via email. Students should plan to show at least half of their projects at this time.
December 2nd- If you would like to drop of project materials and test them out in our system. Final check-in before the competition. More information regarding specific times will be communicated to students and parents via email.
